This was maybe the most Inspiring thing I heard

I wanted to share with you my thoughts from your visit. Maybe the most surprising thing I heard from students in both classes was silence. In all the class periods I’ve assisted in this school year, the student’s were most directly engaged during your presentation. When asked, they gave thoughtful responses. I saw a bright student who sometimes lacks motivation and discipline shake your hand as he left class and say, “I’m ready.”

Thank you for taking advantage of any down time or transitions to speak one-on-one with individual students. I think this humanized you in their eyes and made you feel more accessible. Your willingness to share your personal experiences seemed to disarm the students.

Personally, I would recommend you and your work. Your message, method, philosophy, and demeanor engaged our students to a depth I hadn’t yet witnessed in the classroom here at School of the Future.
